PM-USHA
- The central government has released Rs 20 crore to the Gulbarga university under Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-Usha).
- The Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) is a program by the Government of India, administered through the Ministry of Education. The scheme intends to enhance the quality of higher education in India by providing financial aid for infrastructure development, faculty improvement, and academic reforms.
- PM-USHA aims to address the key gaps and issues identified in the Evaluation Report of Centrally Sponsored Schemes by the NITI Aayog.
