Novelist K T Gatti passes away
- Well-known novelist, playwright and poet K T Gatti passed away
- He was 85. Gatti published more than 50 novels, essays, two poems, including one in English, and over 50 plays. Fourteen of his novels were serialised in ‘Sudha’, which is an unique record in itself.
- Gatti’s first novel in Kannada language was ‘Shabdagalu’ which was published in 1976.
- His non-fiction books - ‘Parenting for Excellency’, ‘Bilingual Master’, ‘Teach your Child English and Kannada Together’, ‘Learn English Naturally through Kannada’ and others have been hailed as significant contributions to education.
