CBSE to link its schools to set up hubs of learning by July 2019

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun a move to set up “hubs of learning” by forming small groups of neighbourhood schools affiliated to it with an aim to create “a culture of support and healthy interdependence” across different areas of teaching-learning for collaborative growth.
  • The board has also launched its own podcast platform to disseminate “crucial” information related to its activities and guidelines “in a timely, educative, lucid and seamless manner” to the schools, principals, teachers, parents and students.
  • The CBSE-Shiksha Vani, a mobile application, has been made available in the Playstore for stakeholders to download.
  • The move would provide a common and shared platform “to create a culture of support and healthy interdependence across different areas of teaching-learning, namely curriculum planning, teaching-learning activities and other school practices.
